Global Symposium on Racing Speaker: Scott Little
Scott Little is Vice President of Racing Services for Equibase, where he has been a member of the execute team since January 2024. Little joined Equibase in 2021 as the company’s director of racing services to oversee all setup and maintenance of the E-GPS system now being utilized at 30 racetracks. His role expanded to oversee all data collection, including chartcalling and workout information, three years later.
Prior to joining Equibase, Little worked for AmTote as a product owner, working with development teams on various tote enhancements. He also worked on a horse health and safety system utilized at 1/ST Racing facilities.
Little is a 2018 graduate of the University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program where he transitioned to the racing industry after having spent the majority of his professional career in hospitality and technology. He managed hotels and resorts across the southwest and also spent 15 years in the hospitality technology sector as a software developer and director of operations.
Outside of work, Little enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, and is a big sports fan. He and his wife Julie have been married for 38 years and are proud parents of Jonathan, also a RTIP graduate who is a simulcast analyst for NYRA Content Management Solutions and Kathryn, who works in admissions and recruitment for the University of Central Arkansas.
