Global Symposium on Racing Speaker: Nathan Klein
Born in North Carolina, Nathan did not grow up near a racetrack or have family that worked in racing. But fell in love with the sport at a young age thanks to watching it on television. With an early dream of wanting to be a Racetrack Announcer. Spurred by meeting Tom Durkin at age 15 one of Durkin’s main advice to him was to go to college. This led to Nathan applying to the University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program before his senior year of high school. This year he has made the recent transition from student to alumni having graduated from RTIP spring of 2026. Right after graduation Nathan was hired by Penn National to be their newest Track Announcer, Morning Line Odds maker, and Handicapper. At 22 years old Nathan is the youngest active track announcer in the United States.
