Lynn Thomas, LCSW, Co-Founder/President, Horses for Mental Health, & Co-Founder/CEO, Arenas for Change. Lynn has been a leader in integrating horses into mental health services for over 25 years, playing a pivotal role in the global expansion of these approaches.
After co-founding and leading the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association for 21 years, in 2021 she co-founded Arenas for Change (ARCH), a professional training and certification community that advances facilitation skills and session impact through a story-centered approach involving horses, animals, and nature.
That same year, Lynn co-founded Horses for Mental Health (HMH), a nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to raising awareness, expanding access, and supporting organizations providing mental health and personal growth services incorporating horses. Through HMH’s collaborative annual fundraising and awareness campaign, over $2 million has been raised to support programs nationwide.
