Global Symposium on Racing Speaker: Bailey Armour

Bailey Armour is the Marketing Manager at 1/ST TECHNOLOGY, where she brings energy, creativity, and an unabashed love of the sport to her work in player engagement and brand storytelling. Since joining the horse racing industry in 2016, Bailey has contributed to some of its most memorable moments - from the Pegasus World Cup and Preakness Stakes to opening weekends at Santa Anita and Breeders’ Cups at Keeneland - always with the goal of connecting fans more deeply to the heart of the game.

Originally from rural north Georgia, Bailey’s fascination with racing began as a kid watching Funny Cide’s Triple Crown bid with rapt attention from her grandparents’ farm. That spark led her to Lexington, Kentucky, where she found her footing and her future in the racing world.

Known for her down-to-earth style and infectious enthusiasm, Bailey believes in building community through conversation, especially when it comes to topics the industry doesn’t talk about enough. As the moderator of this year’s panel, Riding Together: Supporting Mental Wellness in Racing, she aims to foster honest dialogue, amplify panelists' stories, and remind everyone that no one fights alone.

When she’s not at the track (or telling people about new restaurants in Lexington), Bailey can be found walking her two beloved dogs, Simba and Tortilla, needlepointing, woodworking, or starting—but rarely finishing—one of her three annual new hobbies. She is the proud owner of two Thoroughbreds, one of whom she groomed on the racetrack and the other who wasn't quite tall enough to make it there. She also knows far too much about the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald and would be happy to discuss her losing fantasy football roster in between race cards.
