Zach Taylor
Zach Taylor is the Director of Sales and Business Development in North America for Global Tote. Prior to managing deals that total upwards of $1.5 Billion in pari-mutuel handle annually, Taylor worked his way through the wagering ranks starting as a ticket writer. A 2019 graduate of the University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program, his time in academia reflected the path he would eventually take. Using every opportunity to explore the wagering space in horse racing and how to improve and expand the game he loves the time at RTIP was spent researching topics like fixed odds wagering and flexi-betting. After holding roles such as Special Projects Manager at Arizona Downs, Integrity Officer at Oaklawn Park, and Equine Investigative Specialist at NYRA, Taylor found a role seemingly made for him at BetMakers/Global Tote. While working with partner racetracks in the parimutuel arena, Taylor was also able to play a key role in the implementation of fixed odds wagering in New Jersey. Outside work, Taylor enjoys visiting National Parks, cheering for his favorite collegiate athletics teams, and volunteering at his local small animal rescue.
