Tom has been passionate about horse racing since he was a child and grew up going to Freehold Raceway, Garden State Park, Monmouth Park, and The Meadowlands along with trips to many other racetracks. He got his first job in the racing industry at Monmouth Park in 2006 just a short time before graduating high school. Tom worked as a Publicity Assistant during his first year, and in the following years he wrote race reviews for the track program and provided analysis on in-house handicapping seminars.

While working at Monmouth in 2010, Tom’s TVG journey began when he got the opportunity to join the network’s broadcasters for coverage of the races from the Jersey Shore track. He was part of the on-site coverage again for the 2011 season after graduating from Kean University, and then moved to Los Angeles later that year. During his time as an on-air host and analyst on TVG, Tom received the Harness Horsemen International’s 2016 Clyde Hirt Memorial Media Award and Monmouth Park’s 2017 Bill Handleman Memorial Award.

In 2018, Tom became Industry Relations Senior Manager and moved back to New Jersey where he would continue covering Monmouth Park races for the network through 2020.

In his current role, Tom works with industry stakeholders to expand the reach of horse racing through FanDuel’s television networks and ADW platforms. Tom and his wife Audrey have two children, Thomas Jr. and Charlotte.
