Global Symposium on Racing Speaker: E. Gabrielle Kuenzli
E. Gabrielle Kuenzli is an associate professor of history at the University of South Carolina, specializing in Latin American history, Latino history, and sports, with an emphasis on thoroughbred racing. In addition to academic publications, Kuenzli writes for flagship trade magazines in the equine industry such as Blood Horse. She is co-curator of the first bilingual exhibit on Latinos in thoroughbred horseracing, entitled Raices: The Making of Latino Legacies in Racing, sponsored by Keeneland Racetrack and Library. Kuenzli is also the Education Coordinator for the Jockeys' Guild Education Foundation.
