Global Symposium on Racing Speaker: Dr. Emily Janovyak
Dr. Emily Janovyak is the Assistant Director of the Arizona Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Janovyak practiced clinical veterinary medicine in Ohio in mixed, small animal general practice and small animal emergency settings for many years before pursuing residency training and board certification. Her recent work and publications center on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) surveillance and teaching Antimicrobial Stewardship (AS) to veterinary students. She is committed to the One Health ideals of protecting animal, human and environmental health through the work of the veterinary diagnostic laboratory.
