David O’Rourke joined NYRA in 2008 as Director of Financial Planning and was named Chief Revenue Officer and Senior Vice President in 2013. During his tenure, he has led business development strategies through industry initiatives, television and digital media expansion, and major capital investments, including the ongoing modernization of Belmont Park through a comprehensive renovation project.
He serves on the NYRA Board of Directors; the boards of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, Thoroughbred Racing Associations of America, Equibase Company Management Committee, and the Racing Medication and Testing Consortium; and is a member of The Jockey Club. O’Rourke holds a bachelor’s degree from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and an MBA from Tulane University.
