Pat Cummings
Pat Cummings is currently the executive director of the newly-formed National Thoroughbred Alliance after having served in a similar capacity for the Thoroughbred Idea Foundation during its operations from 2018 to 2023.
That followed three years where he led the racing public affairs division of the Hong Kong Jockey Club. Prior to that, Cummings spent four years with former racing technology provider Trakus, and he covered racing from the United Arab Emirates for various media outlets over nine seasons.
Cummings is also the founder and president of Global Racing Solutions, an industry consultancy.
Cummings earned his MBA from Baylor University and his undergraduate degree at Dickinson College. He has enjoyed the thrill of horse ownership through several syndicates in the U.S., Dubai, and South Africa. An avid horseplayer, Pat has also served multiple stints as an election officer in Fayette County, Kentucky, where he resides.
