Michele Ravencraft
Michele Ravencraft is deeply rooted in Kentucky, having spent her entire life in the Commonwealth. She holds an Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology degree from the University of Kentucky. Growing up in Kentucky and surrounded by the allure of horse racing, Michele developed a profound passion for the sport.
After dedicating several years to raising her daughter, Schuler, Michele embarked on a career journey within the sport at the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) and Breeders’ Cup.
Today, Michele is the Senior Vice President of Events at the NTRA. In her role, she oversees the National Horseplayers Championship and the prestigious Eclipse Awards. Michele works with horseplayers daily competing to win a berth into the National Horseplayers Championship (NHC) held annually in Las Vegas. Under her guidance, the NHC has burgeoned into a multimillion-dollar event, revered globally as the pinnacle of handicapping contests. Additionally, Michele assists the Breeders’ Cup during the Breeders’ Cup World Championships.
