Responsibilities include leading the strategic, policy, political, economic, promotional, media & industry /public relations interests of Florida Breeders, FL-Bred Owners & Farms. 1982 UA RTIP Graduate, RTIP Director 1986-1990, Advisory Council Co-Founder in 1982 & has attended 41 out of a possible 43 Symposiums!
In 2022 received the dual honors of be being presented the American Horse Council's Van Ness Award for his advocacy & positive impact on horses of all breeds & disciplines in numerous states, & the Florida Society of Association Executives Executive of the Year where he recently served as Chairman of the Board. Just recently in 2023 was honored to accept the invitation to serve as a member of the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia and Equine Authority Technical Committee.
Previous positions include: Santa Anita, Longacres, Turf Paradise race tracks CEO, Racing Commissioners International President & as an agency head & administrative law judge for the State of Arizona as part of the Governor Brewer administration.
