Dr. Ryan Wolker
Dr. Ryan Wolker graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada in 2004 subsequently completing an internship (Moore Equine), clinical fellowship (Oregon State University) and large animal surgical residency in conjunction with a Master of Veterinary Science degree (WCVM/U of S).
He has been an American College of Veterinary Surgeons Diplomate since 2010 and has held faculty positions in academia (University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary College, University of Pretoria-Onderstepoort, South Africa), private equine practice (Washington state and Arizona) and recently government for the last 6 years with the Arizona Department of Agriculture as an Assistant and State Veterinarian responsible for foreign animals disease investigation, regulatory enforcement, and policy and rule development to control disease in livestock and equine while still permitting commerce to the best or our ability within the framework of protecting the industry overall.
