Ben Mosier

As the executive director of the Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit, Ben Mosier oversees the implementation of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority’s Anti-Doping and Medication Control Program.

Mosier’s responsibilities have expanded since joining Drug Free Sport International (DFSI) in 2010, including contributing to clients’ international sport drug testing interests and expansion, which combines two of his personal passions – travel and sport. His previous role as the vice president of Business Development for DFSI focused on the cultivation of relationships with prospective clients and management of relationships with current clients throughout the global sports and wellness industries.

Before serving as vice president of Business Development for DFSI, Mosier was the senior director of Professional Sports Drug Testing and oversaw the daily operations of the drug testing programs of the National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball, PGA Tour, NASCAR, and other professional sports league programs.

Mosier possesses a bachelor’s degree in sports and leisure management from the University of Missouri, Columbia. Prior to joining DFSI, Mosier served as the national events coordinator / intern with the Kansas City Sports Commission and worked in operations and marketing for the University of Missouri’s Athletic Department.
