Alex Dadoyan
Alex has worked in the racing industry for more than 25 years in both harness and thoroughbred racing and on the racetrack and horsemen side. A native of Fort Lee, New Jersey, Dadoyan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in economics. He went on to receive a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law. A lifelong racing fan, Dadoyan elected to pursue a summer internship at the Meadowlands Racetrack while still in law school and has remained in the industry ever since. He spent 15 years at the NJSEA’s Meadowlands and Monmouth Park in several racing departments. Shortly after the privatization of the New Jersey tracks, Dadoyan shifted to New York to serve as the Executive Director of the Standardbred Owners Association of New York. After a six year stay with the horsemen, Dadoyan went back to the racetrack side, joining MGM Resorts International as the Director of Racing for Yonkers Raceway where he has been the last five years.
