The University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program (RTIP) is seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Assistant Professor of Practice. This career track position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our renowned program, known for its excellence in educating future leaders in the racing industry.

Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Professor of Practice, you will take on the pivotal task of delivering a minimum of 14 units of the Program’s core coursework. Reporting directly to the Director of the School of Animal and Comparative Biomedical Sciences in the College of Agriculture, Life & Environmental Sciences, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic experience of our students.

Beyond Teaching:
In addition to your teaching responsibilities, this role encompasses both an administrative and a service component. You will assist in the planning and execution of the annual Global Symposium on Racing, our industry's largest annual conference, drawing over 600 attendees each December. This Symposium serves as a cornerstone of our Program and is instrumental in driving revenue for the RTIP. In addition, the successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying avenues for expanding our academic programs and supporting new student recruitment initiatives.

Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with a Master’s degree in Animal Science or a related field, OR a minimum of 10 years of experience in the relevant teaching subject.
