Charlie Hayward

Beginning in 2016, Hayward has been the President of Hayward Advisory Services, LLC, which provides strategic management consulting services to the thoroughbred racing industry. Additionally, he is a Director of Thoroughbred Racing Commentary (TRC), a publisher that provides original reporting and editorial on international thoroughbred racing.

Prior to TRC Hayward served as the President & CEO of the New York Racing Association from 2004 to 2012 where he led the effort to bring NYRA through the dark days of the Deferred Prosecution Agreement, bankruptcy and the renewal of its franchise with the State.

Hayward led the Daily Racing Form as the President & CEO from 1998 to 2004 and before that was President & CEO of Little, Brown and Company, Inc., a $200 million publishing subsidiary of Time Warner.
